			<description><![CDATA[Alma Hill is an award-winning journalist with more than 25 years of experience writing for newspapers, magazines and most recently, digital media.  Her expertise is in local politics, nonprofits, neighborhood development, education, home design, pop culture and emerging trends.<br /><br />Alma honed her crisis management, speech writing and publication design skills while working as Public Information Officer at the Oregon Legislature.  She coordinated events and media relations for the House Majority Leader, Democratic Caucus members and key legislative committee members.
